Class Procedures

Specific homework activities can be accessed by students via Google Classroom.  It is posed in the message stream.

All homework should be completed and ready for the beginning of class.

Students must attempt all questions.  Homework will be corrected together but not marked.  Thus, it is very important that students work on all parts of an activity in order understand where they might have difficult and be able to ask questions.

When no specific homework is assigned, students should be reviewing their notes, using their resources (a dictionary and a Bescherelle) to find the meaning of unfamiliar words and preparing questions about what they do not understand to ask in class.

Copies of all notes and information discussed in class can be found on Google Classroom.  If a students has been or will be absent, copies of all handouts can be found in the labeled folder hanging at the back of the class.  Copies can also be found on Google Classroom.  It is the responsibility of students to ensure that they are up-to-date.

Please check PowerSchool regularly as it has the most up-to-date information about activity completion and a student's progress in achieving the outcomes.

All in-class assignments/activities must be finished at school.  If students do not finish during class hours, they can come to extra-help at lunch to finish .  All assignments must be finish in extra-help by Friday of the week in which it should have been completed in class.  If the assignment is not completed by that date, it is considered late.

If a project that students are working on at home is not completed by its due date, the activity will be marked as late on PowerSchool.  A second due date will be established with the students.  After this deadline, the activity may not be accepted by the teacher.  Please ensure all work is submitted on time.
