7C: Tomorrow is the last day to submit your draft to me for corrections, that way I can give it back to you Thursday. There is no school Friday, so your final copy will be due Monday - we will then begin presentations.

8C: If you've given me your draft and are waiting for corrections, I will have those back to you tomorrow. Your final copy is due Thursday. On Monday we will begin learning the conditionnel.

9C Français: Your lit circle booklet is overdue, I do have most of them graded and in PowerSchool but I am missing a few. Please also pass in your character development mini-booklet from this week.

9C Éd Civ: I have most people's Hotel Rwanda movie fill in sheet but if you haven't given me that please do so this week. Also please refer to PowerSchool or ask me to ensure you have everything passed in from the term so far.

I did not get to post homework last night as I had no power at my house. Here is the homework for tonight.

7C: No homework tonight unless you haven't finished your identity item write-up. For those whose rough copies I'm correcting tonight, you will have a half class to work on it tomorrow.

8C: No homework tonight, tomorrow we will have a listening comprehension with passé composé and imparfait. On Monday we begin independent novel study.

9C: No homework for French unless you didn't finish your recording & submit it. However for civics please hand in your definitions and your ethics sheet by tomorrow.

7C: We will continue working with our identity item assignment (can be found on Google Classroom, both the directions and an example) and it will be due at the end of tomorrow's class.

8C: No homework tonight. Tomorrow we will continue with the last part of our booklet questions. FYI, next up is independent novel study.

9C: Tomorrow is the last class to work on the interviews. They will be due Thursday (so if you don't finish in class tomorrow, you'll have the evening to work on it at home).

There is no school today due to an in-service for teachers. Please see the following reminders over the weekend:

7C: Students are asked to bring in an "identity item" on Monday that represents them. If they do not want to or are not able to bring the actual item a picture of the item will work fine. It's important that you keep this item a secret from your peers - this is essential for our activity on Monday.

Also, if you did not finish your adjective practice sheet on Thursday, please do so over the weekend so we can correct it together as a class on Monday.

8C: If you want to, you can go ahead and work on the next part of your imparfait verbs in the booklet. However if you would prefer to wait and practice together in class you may do so. NO PANICKING!

9C: If you have not finished the script portion of your grammar project video it's a good idea to work on this over the weekend. My recommendation is to use Google Docs so that both partners can access the document to make edits - you can also then share it with me so I can check your verbs before you start recording.

ALSO: if you have any novels at home belonging to me PLEASE bring them back as I need them ASAP. I will have to contact home soon if they are not brought in to me.

7C: If we have school tomorrow, you have tomorrow and Monday to work on your projects. If we do not, you have Monday and Tuesday. This is because Friday is our Valentine's party. I will bring cupcakes for the class (gluten free and regular). If you want to bring treats please do so, also if you want to bring valentines for the class you are welcome to do so. Some people have expressed interest in that but it is not mandatory.

8C: If we have school tomorrow we will begin with learning how to research for our opinion texts. If not that will be Monday (Friday being a Valentine themed conversation class).

9C: If we have school tomorrow we will continue working on le jargon francais, beginning our unit projects when done. Friday will be our Valentine themed conversation class. During citizenship (4th period Friday) we will be in the cooking lab.

9A: I only have reading comprehension sheets for our winter book from about half the class. If you were absent last day or did not do your work you will have next class to work and then we will move on.

7C: Most of the novel study projects have been graded and handed back with the exception of some people who were absent. Please get those in ASAP. We are now working on novel study final projects in class and you will have 3-5 classes to work as needed.

8C: Currently working on Blogue de Sarah: independently analysing a blog. I will be marking it. You have another class to work and ask me for any help or questions.

9C: Your grades for the culture sheet in-class are ready and will be handed back tomorrow. I am also marking your map assignment from today. These should be relatively easy marks to up your average. Next week we will be moving into Acadian food as well as regional dialects of French in Canada. On Friday (Valentine's Day) we will be in the cooking lab making an Acadian dish!

9A: We have just clued up oral evaluation for Winter unit with the exception of some absent people, who will have the chance to make it up in the coming days. We will be reading our book tomorrow in class via Chromebooks and answering questions.

9B: We have finished oral evaluation for this unit. You should be working through your Wintergram assignment. You have tomorrow's period to do that.

Citizenship: Again, all outstanding work should be done for homework. Please see me if you need any sheets, as I have lots of extra.

Any and all missing or late work must be passed in by Friday in order to count for reports!

7C: Today's class is the final class to work on your biography. Presentations will begin Tuesday.

8C: Friday's conversation class is make-up. If you have missed a class or not received a sticker for a class, be sure to attend in order to make it up.

9C: On Friday for Education Civique we will be having a guest speaker from the town of Bridgewater. We will be continuing to read our French novel on Tuesday so if you are going to be absent be sure to read at home.

9A and 9B: You should have your comic strip completed and passed in by Friday for it to count for report cards.
