Rules and Regulations
General Rules:
All Curling Canada rules will be in effect
5 rock rule will be in effect
The "no-tick" rule in effect
Before each game:
Coin flip will take place 20 minutes prior to start. Winning flip decides upon rock color or second practice.
Practice will take place 15 minutes before beginning of designated start time. Teams have 5 minutes to practice with a one minute cool down of sliders.
Each team will throw a last rock draw to the button. Totals will be added together to determine placing in the event of a tiebreaker. A different player must throw the draw to the button each game .
During the game:
Buzzer rule may be in effect...when buzzer rings, finish the end you are in and play one more.
All measurements will be conducted by the players, except for finals (which will be conducted by the official)
No ties...tie game will be a draw to the button (measured by official)
After the game:
Ensure one member signs the game report.
Due to scheduling, there will be no formal playoffs. Teams that are tied will be broken based upon the following:
Head to Head
Combined LSD totals.

Please be on time for your designated game
The top two teams in each division will qualify for provincials, taking place in Western Zone (Digby)
Coaches are permitted to sit on either end and have one coaches interaction per end. See attached NSCA rules for this procedure.
