IF COST IS AN ISSUE WE ALSO HAVE ACCESS TO SCHOOLS PLUS COMMUNITY OUTREACH WORKERS WHO ARE ABLE TO HELP FAMILIES ACCESS COMMUNITY RESOURCES LIKE KIDSPORT, JUMPSTART, AND OTHER FUNDING/GRANT ORGANIZATIONS.

This is a super affordable Halifax REC webpage with hundreds of different sport offerings for children aged 4 to 16. They offer everything from swimming and skating, to basketball, soccer, dance and gymnastics. There are also adult programs here as well. Click the link, create a profile and explore what they have to offer. I will warn you in advance though; signing up for programs can sometimes be like trying to purchase concert tickets -- make sure you're logged I n promptly before 10am and know what programs you're trying to get your child in well before the signup date!
