This session will introduce teachers to the concept of using paper circuits as an engaging and simple way to use electronics to create interactive displays that can link to many different subject areas and curriculum outcomes. During this session attendees will learn how to create series and parallel circuits using copper tape, coin cell batteries and LED lights. Attendees will then be given the opportunity to create their own paper circuit card. Supplies will be provided and only your interest and imagination is needed.
This session is intended for upper elementary to high school classes and can be incorporated into almost any curriculum. Paper Circuits are an effective way to engage your students with hands-on activities which link directly to outcomes in your classroom.
