Running July 30th - Aug 1st at St. FX University in Antigonish, IT Camp 2025 is a professional learning opportunity that supports the work that Nova Scotia Teachers and others are doing to innovate their teaching practices.
It is a place for sharing and learning about Tech Tips, Tools, and Devices that help to enrich teaching and learning, engage students, and foster innovation. You can also engage in great conversations around the pedagogy of Tech, Teaching, and Learning.
Based on many years of highly successful summer camps we can say that this will be a fun and enriching way to learn with colleagues from around the Province in a relaxed and supportive environment.
IT Camp is an in-person event! Accommodations and meals during the conference are provided free of charge for Nova Scotia Teachers.
Anouk Wipprecht is an internationally acclaimed Dutch FashionTech designer who merges technology and couture in striking, interactive ways. With a background in fashion design and engineering, she has collaborated with brands like Intel, Audi, and Swarovski to create wearable technology that responds intuitively to the environment and the wearer’s emotions. Her designs—such as the Spider Dress, which uses robotic limbs to defend the wearer’s personal space, or the Smoke Dress, which emits fog in response to movement—challenge traditional ideas of clothing by integrating sensors, robotics, and AI.
Anouk has worked across the world, working with students and teachers on Innovation, Fashion, and promoting women and girls in STEM.
Anouk explores how emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, biometrics, and machine learning can empower creative expression and redefine human interaction. Offering educators a look at the intersection of design, technology, and learning—sparking inspiration for how we might approach innovation in the classroom and beyond.
