Linguistically Appropriate Practice (AP) is an inclusive approach that supports students learning English within their classrooms and values and promotes the importance of a student's home language and culture. This approach includes many strategies that are easy to implement, do not require much planning time, and have a positive impact on student achievement, engagement, and language acquisition.Â
