School Bookings

The HRA Arts Lab is unavaiable for bookings for the 2026-27 school year

Rocky Lak Arts Lab is available to Grades 4-12 teachers in HRCE. Teachers or Admin can book their class for either a Glass or Ceramic workshop at the Lab. No fees are required and bus invoices can be paid for through HRA funds. Due to our large number of requests please only book with one of our HRA labs. We do our best to fit in as many of your groups as possible but please understand the scheduling process can take time and space is limited.

Steps for Booking a visit to the Arts Lab...

The Rocky Lake Arts Lab is unavaiable for bookings for the 2026-27 school year

1. Click on the link below and fill out the Google Form. Please understand this is a request only and we do our best to accommodate as many groups as we can.

2. Await an email to confirm and sure up the dates requested.

3. Have your admin book a bus(if needed) and email dvakoughnett@hrce.ca with your arrival and drop off times. (Most workshops are from 9:30-11:30 am but can be adjusted a half hour either way depending on your school schedule).

4. Organize your school field trip permission forms, chaperons and Class coverage for yourself. *Tip- One way JH teachers get coverage is by having one full class come with them, and then who ever would have taught that class covers your class back at the school.*

5. Arrive and make amazing work at the Lab! *When you get to Rocky Lake JH you can tell the bus driver to bring the bus to the very back of the parking lot. The lab is located through the back doors of the school.*

6. Once all work has been fired (usually 2 weeks after your last session), someone from your school will need to pick up the work from the lab.
