EXPERIENTIAL Learning

Our students have multiple opportunities to explore various experiential adventures. This gives them the opportunity to learn life and social skills outside the classroom setting. Our trips are designed to encourage students to transition safely throughout various communities.

Discovery Centre

The Discovery Centre provides our students with a hands-on, minds-on learning environment that gives them the confidence to take part in class discussions, to feel accomplished, and to be inspired to further their own learning.

Group Activities

Group activities allow our students to work on skill their development, socialize with others, work on their social/emotional well-being, and gain greater confidence.

Music Therapy

It has been found that when music is used in interventions with children and teens with ASD, it can improve social behaviour, increase focus and attention, increase communication attempts (vocalizations, verbalization, gestures, and vocabulary), reduce anxiety, and improve body awareness.

PEERS

The PEERS program is designed to teach students the skills they require to make friends and sustain healthy relationships. This is an evidence-based program that teaches pro-social skills that our students use to be successful during their work and personal interactions.
