Thank you for coming by my website. Continue to check back for some up to date websites and information for both students and parents. I will try to add more information as needed. This creation is a learning process for me so I am trying to make sure that the content is accurate, up to date and necessary for families.
A little about your teacher...
I was born and raised in Halifax with my parents, older brother and sister. I have three kittens, four nephews and one niece. I have lived in London, England and the state of Maine. I love to travel, gardening, enjoy going whale watching, cooking, baking and reading during my downtime...just to name just a few!
I graduated from Saint Mary's University (SMU) with my Bachelor of Arts, I attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) for my Bachelor of Education and I went to Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) with my first masters degree. In the fall of 2019, I began my second masters program through St. Francis Xavier University (St.FX) and I completed this in July of 2021. I am enrolled with my third and final masters at MSVU. I was a substitute teacher from 2005-2006 and began working full time in September 2006 where I have mostly taught grades 2 and 3 over the last 19 years.
I am happy to be at Bedford South School this year and I look forward to seeing my students grow in grade 3!
