Conversations: Students will have opportunities to discuss with their peers and their teacher about the activity, expressing their ideas and creativity.
Observations: The teacher will observe each student and assess their progression and technique. This allows the teacher to give meaningful feedback enhancing their confidence, and competence with the activity.
Rubrics: During group performances, a rubric will be provided to each student outlining how they can achieve the highest academic score, while maintaining a high quality, engaging, and inclusive environment.
All outcomes will be graded on a scale from 1 - 4. For Jr. High students, that score will turn into a percent grade on their report card. For Elementary students, they will receive one of the following on their report card: Not Meeting (NM), Needs Development (ND), Developing as Expected (DE), and Well Developed (WD).
