NEXT SAC MEETING- FEB 3- 6:00PM , NEXT HOME AND SCHOOL MEETING - FEB 10- 6:00PM
A school advisory council is a legally recognized body composed of the principal and representatives of teachers and support staff, students, parents, and community members who work together in an advisory capacity to increase the quality of education being provided by the school. The fundamental purpose of the school advisory council is to ensure that all students receive the best possible learning opportunities by engaging all partners in an ongoing process of shared discussion, planning and development for school improvement.
The Digby Elementary School SAC maintains a healthy open two-way dialogue between the school and the community it serves. If you have questions or concerns which you feel might be addressed through the School Advisory Council for Digby Elementary School, please contact the SAC Chair or DES Main Office, addressed to SAC.
Parents of our students are always welcome to attend the SAC meetings. Please feel free to drop in without notice to any of the regularly scheduled meetings.
