Here is a little video you can watch on found sounds. Curious George is looking for sound effects and he creates them out of everyday things! I can't wait to see your found sounds or real instruments you have discovered!
I recorded myself playing our Spring song. Press play on the video on the right, you can click on the google slide of the words and sing along. Click on each slide to change to the next verse and follow the words and colors.
Loose Tooth Poem
I have a loose tooth, a wiggly jiggly loose tooth.
I have a loose tooth, hanging by a thread.
So I pulled out my loose tooth, my wiggly jiggly loose tooth.
Put it under my pillow and then I went to bed.
The fairy took my loose tooth, my wiggly jiggly loose tooth.
Now I have a looney and a hole in my head!
Try these three ways!
say the poem keeping the beat with a found sound.
say the poem playing your found sound each time we say "loose tooth"
say the poem, leaving out the words loose tooth but playing the sound on a found sound instead!
Here is the new song I introduced today. When you listen, practice keeping the beat on some different found sounds.
Also try to remember and practice the actions I briefly showed you. Think of some simple actions for the bird, fish, duck and flower parts.
Enjoy!
Here is the music for Vivaldi Spring. Try moving your arms like tree branches during the tree music. Freeze your feet together making your legs the trunk of the tree. Freeze your body during the bird, river, storm and sun music and only move during the tree music. I bet you can freeze so still during the other parts!
