We are a Pre Primary to Grade 5 school with students from both Little Tancook and Big Tancook Islands.

Big Tancook Elementary is a unique school on an island in Nova Scotia and is one of Canada's last one-room school houses. The school may be small, but it has a large amount of community support. Staff and volunteers enrich the children's educational experience with unique opportunities like outdoor learning.
