To help students with their search for Student Awards, the links for many Scholarships, Bursaries & Grants will be either:

(2) Posted on the Grade 12 Google Classroom under Classwork --> Scholarships & Bursaries.
Scholarships and Bursaries are updated throughout the year as information becomes available.
Check back often for more opportunities!
SCHOLARSHIPS are mostly based on your academic achievement, extracurricular & volunteer involvement. Sometimes, financial need is also considered.
BURSARIES are often from local organizations or local donors and are based on passing grades, financial need and sometimes your volunteer experiences are considered.
GRANTS are non-repayable financial aid provided by federal or provincial governments to help students pay for education at universities, colleges, or private career colleges. (You do not have to pay back a grant.)

If you are unsure if you qualify, apply anyway and/or speak to your school counsellor.
Financial Need looks different for everyone, and many different factors may create financial need for a student. It is important to explain your financial need clearly if an application requests this. If you need help with this, please see your school counsellor.
Grade 12s are reminded to check their GNSPES email accounts on a regular basis for Google Classroom Posts
Grade 12s should also regularly be checking their email address that they used to apply to their post-secondary institution to check for required actions, outstanding documents, and scholarship and bursary offers (which are sometimes time sensitive).
Employers, unions, service clubs and organizations that your parents/guardians and grandparents are affiliated with many also offer awards.
