Our Schedule

General Information

Our school operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, and our regular day runs from 8:15am to 2:15am. Classroom teachers will share their classes' daily schedules (Music, Phys Ed, French, Library, etc.) at the beginning of the year or upon request.  Please see Practices and Procedures tab for more information about dismissal, pick up, signing students in and out, etc.  

Regular Day (8:15am - 2:15pm)

8:00am – Front doors and back doors are unlocked, and students are permitted to go to classrooms.  First buses arrive and unload.  Students are not permitted to enter the school until 8:00am as there is no supervision in the school.  

8:15am - School begins.

8:17am –O' Canada - Students who arrive after this must be signed in at the office and are marked late.

8:20am– First class begins.

8:30am – Back door by cafeteria is locked for the day (except for recess and lunch times).  If you need to come in to the school, please enter by the front door. 

9:50am – 1st Recess begins - Grades 2/3 to 5

10:05am – 1st Recess ends.

10:20am – 2nd Recess begins - Grades Primary to 2

10:35am – 2nd Recess ends.

11:45am - Lunch begins - Preprimaries.

11:55am – 1st lunch begins - Grades 2/3 to 5

12:05pm – Play time begins - Grades 2/3 to 5

12:20pm – 2nd lunch begins - Grades Primary to 2

12:30pm – Play time ends - Grades 2/3 to 5

12:35pm - Play time begins - Grades Primary to 2

12:55pm– Play time ends - Grades Primary to 2

2:15pm – Dismissal to buses

After all the buses have left the school (around 2:25pm), walkers and pick ups are dismissed. 

Early Dismissal (8:15am - 12:15pm)

11:05am – 1st lunch begins - Grades 2/3 to 5

11:15am - Playtime begins - Grades 2/3 to 5

11:25am - 2nd lunch begins - Grades Preprimary to 2

11:35am - Playtime ends - Grades 2/3 to 5

11:40am - Playtime begins - Grades Primary to 2

12:05pm - Playtime ends - Grades Primary to 2

12:15pm - Dismissal to buses

Approx. 12:25pm - Walkers and pick us dismissed 

Delayed Start  (10am - 2:15pm)

The school opens at 10am instead of 8am for student drop-off. Our day starts at 10:15am instead of 8:15am.  Students are marked late after 10:17am.  Buses leave at regular time - 2:15 pm.
