Our Mission

Scoil Naomh Pádraig, Kanturk is a Catholic school which aims:

· Scoil Naomh Pádraig, Kanturk is a Catholic Primary School with three special classes (The Sunflower room, The Bluebell room & The Rose room), which endeavours to provide a disciplined, secure and happy environment where the academic, physical, moral, spiritual, cultural, emotional and personal development of each child are identified and addressed.

· Our Primary School promotes the Catholic ethos but also has due recognition for all other religions and cultures.

· Co-operation and a strong sense of community are encouraged.

· It is our wish that our pupils leave our school with an openness to continuing personal growth and with skills in creativity and flexibility which will enable them to cope with a changing society.

· We encourage the involvement of parents/guardians through home and school contacts.

· Our school promotes gender equity among the staff and pupils.
