During our Science lessons, we have been Scientists researching Gestation and comparing the different periods. We then presented our findings to our class, in the format of Google slides. Some children were nervous about presenting their findings.
During our English Lesson, we were reporters, interviewing Kester from our narrative 'The Last Wild'. We had the opportunity to be both the reporter and the character. We asked questions about how Kester felt leaving Spectrum Hall to find his family whilst there was a Virus outbreak, similar to Covid.
During our Maths Lesson, we were learning real life skills of Money. We first created our own takeaway menu, then we used money to order and pay for our food. We were both a customer and a Restaurateur. We had to use mental calculation and ensure we gave out the correct change. This was a creative and inspiring lesson for the children involved.

This half term, in Art and design, we have been learning all about Architecture. We have looked at architects such as Zaha Hadid and Friedensreich Hundertwaser. We deisnged our own school using inspiration from both of these architects.
