Year 1 visit Minet Country Park!

Every half term, Year 1 will visit the same oak tree to observe the changes over the four seasons.  We will take a class picture with the tree each time and discuss the changes we see.  The children looked out for signs of Autumn by observing the colour of the leaves. They then made predictions of what the tree would look like on our next visit.

Colour Mixing!

Year 1 have been learning how to mix primary colours to create secondary colours. They had so much fun exploring different shades of green using yellow and blue paint. We used a hand template to see if we could find 5 different shades of green for each finger.
