Science Museum trip - 8/11/23

This half-term, Year 6 visited the Science Museum. Linked to our Science topic, Animals- including Humans. We visited two areas of focus: The Medicine Wellcome Galleries and The Secret Life of the Home.

Featuring three thousand objects and covering an area equivalent to 1,500 hospital beds, Medicine: The Wellcome Galleries is the magnificent new home for the most significant medical collections in the world.

From pop-up toasters to horse-drawn vacuum cleaners, Year 6 took a closer look at the development of household appliances.
