Hey!!! Thank you so much for visiting my page! I hope that it is helpful throughout the school year.
I LOVE teaching at my home school that I attended from kindergarten through twelfth grade. I am so proud to be a Trojan!
I taught 5th grade for twelve years, and I am now a Title I Reading Specialist for our 4th graders.
Throughout the years, I help with Literacy Night, Math Night, and our Positive Behavior Nights. With Ms. Ferro, we co-chaired the Annual School Carnival and The Jared Box Project. I am a member of the Rotary Club of Plymouth and have helped co-chair RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), a summer camp for high school sophomores. This will be my fourth year producing our Good Morning, GNA! Daily News Broadcast where we strive to promote positivity and a sense of community throughout our school.
When I am not teaching or being a student, I enjoy reading, baking, and photography. In the summer, I enjoy the warm weather, swimming in the pool, and spending time at the beach. During the fall, you will find me at Beaver Stadium, with my dad, enjoying some PSU football!! I was formerly Ms. Yefko. My husband and I have been together since 10th grade! We became parents in 2019 to a beautiful baby girl who is now 5 years old, and we have a 2 year old boy. My favorite things are to eat anything sweet, and I do consider myself a coffee enthusiast who is always wearing a smile. :)
My mission as a teacher is to motivate, inspire, encourage, and support students by providing a safe, secure, and loving environment to educate them socially, emotionally, and cognitively, so they can continue to build a foundation for life-long learning.
