Chrome

To sign in to Chrome, you'll need a Google Account. When you have an account, follow these steps:

If you have more than one account or you share your computer with others, learn how to manage multiple people in Chrome.

1. Open Chrome.

2. In the top right, click the button with your name or People .

3. Click Sign in to Chrome.

4. Sign in with your Google Account.

5. To customize your sync settings, click More Settings Advanced sync settings. You can choose what information to share across other devices where you're signed in to Chrome.

Add a profile to Chrome

1. On your computer, open Chrome.

2. At the top right, click Profile .

3. Click Manage people.

4. Click Add person.

5. Choose a name and a photo. (name of your personal gmail account)

6. Click Save. A new window will open and ask you to turn on sync --> enter your personal login information

7. (Optional) Turn sync on in Chrome with a Google Account for the new profile. Your bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings will automatically sync.

*You will now be able to switch between your two accounts in the Chrome Browser*

How to switch between profiles/logins

1. On your computer, open Chrome.

2. At the top right, click Profile .

3. Choose the person or profile you want to switch to.

Website sign-in: Signing in to a website allows the website to remember some of your preferences and information.

Chrome sign-in: Signing in to Chrome connects your Google Account to your browser for a more personalized browsing experience. All your Chrome data, like your bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings, is synced to your Google Account and available on any device where you sign in to Chrome. You'll also be automatically signed in to Gmail, YouTube, Search, or other Google services.

1. Allow or block notifications from all sites

2. On your computer, open Chrome.

3. At the top right, click More Settings.

4. At the bottom, click Advanced.

5. Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.

6. Click Notifications.

7. Choose to block or allow notifications:

   • Block all: Turn off Ask before sending.

   • Block a site: Next to "Block," click Add. Enter the site and click Add.

   • Allow a site: Next to "Allow," click Add. Enter the site and click Add.
