About Mrs. Brenneman

I am a native Memphian. I graduated from Ridgeway High School, and I attend the University of Memphis for both my BA in English and my Master of Arts in Teaching. I obtained my +45 from various universities, including MTSU and CBU.

I am excited to now be a Forest Hill Fox! This will be my 25th year of teaching. I have primarily taught Middle School CLUE English and then Elementary CLUE, two of the Intellectually Gifted and Talented programs in Shelby County Schools. I have been a Snowden Greendog and a White Station Spartan; those experiences have shaped me into the educator I am today.

My family resides here in Germantown. Even though I have known my husband Rick for 26 years, I am often recognized only as the "donut man's wife;" many locals have attended birthday parties at Rick's shop in Collierville, Donut Hutt! We have two sons, Lucas (16) who attends Houston High and my younger son Alan (13), who attends Houston Middle. Two dog fur- babies round out our crew, Slim Jim and Murphy.

When I am not working and spending time with the family, you might find me at the GAC lifting weights or taking a dance or spin class. I also enjoy reading, working in the yard, doing puzzles, and binge-watching a crime show on Netflix.
