Students can get on Accelerated Reader and take AR tests to reach their goal! Goals change per quarter and are celebrated if met!
Students can read books from Accelerated Reader library called myON. myON has a variety of fiction and nonfiction books at many different reading levels.
Students can get on IXL and practice various 4th grade standards. We have starred the standards they need to work on. We always tell the students they need to reach 100% on that standard before moving on.
We love to call Epic the "Netflix of books." They have opened up their books to home use so kiddos can read on their AR levels an assortment of books, read aloud and audio books!
On NewsELA, students can read articles and answer comprehension questions. This is a great, child-friendly way to keep your kiddo updated on current events! You can even change the vocabulary used in each article to match your child's reading level.
