Scope: Interim Repairs on the following areas of the TFHS track to allow for use between now and when a complete renovation to occur in summer 2026:

· Turn 1 lane 6

· Bump lane 5/6 by turn 3

TFHS Intelligent Lighting - 2025
Scope: The intelligent lighting control (Quanta Elite) is in need of a complete renovation. The system is often turning off hallway nodes during the school day, as well as the gymnasium during practices and games. The system and antiquated and has several layers of upgrade available to the school district.

The district was able to fund an upgrade that was the “upper level” of what was available, and rather than replace one or two nodes that were problematic, we were able to replace all of the nodes at the same time- while installing a network communication capability that will allow for digital/automated operation of the entire lighting system. Changes to the schedule and custom lighting modes will be able to be programmed and run due to this upgrade- which will allow for cost savings for not having the lighting system run when school is not in session.

TFHS Greenhouse Construction - 2024
Scope: 18'x36' greenhouse with polycarbonate cover to be installed outside of the TFHS pool area in close proximity to the current greenhouse (see schematic). Ground posts will be driven 4 feet into the ground, not concrete or secured.

Rooftop Heat Pump Installation - 2023
Scope: Install a Daikin heat pump mini-split:

• Remove existing system

• Install two (2) 24k wall units in each of the Special Ed Rooms

• Install a condenser on the roof, via crane

• Start & test system operation

Gym Floor: Re-paint and Re-finish - 2022
Scope: Repair of any defective surfaces, sand and refinish the existing hardwood floor. This will include the preparation of all areas to be refinished including sealing off of doors, venting for dust or other mitigation related to sanding and ventilation of fumes as necessary. Repainting of existing lines, as well as new volleyball lines are to be painted in a blue and white color scheme.

Gym Floor: Sidewalk Repair
Scope: Replace the sidewalk that outlines the “smile” portion of the Turners Falls High School front Walkways. The replacement will be done due to the deteriorating condition of the sidewalks due to lack of care and improper plowing procedures.

The project will include the “smile” curve, the sidewalk including the middle school east/ west walkway, a damaged portion of sidewalk tile leading to door ____, the north/ south connector to the smile from the middle school door, and the crosswalk stub on the west end of the smile. Depending on project cost projection, the curbing will be granite or cast concrete.
