Building Envelope Assessments

GMEC offers expert and thorough assessments of existing building envelopes of all types and sizes, from tiny houses to large commercial and institutional buildings. Basic assessments include:

• Whole-building multi-point airtightness (blower-door) testing to establish baseline air leakage

• Guided leakage diagnostics under depressurization

• Written report with overview, findings, and recommendations regarding fenestration, insulation, and building airtightness

Additional options: Thermal imaging, theatrical fogging, window water penetration testing
