Homework Policy

It is our policy to assign homework Monday through Thursday nights beginning on Tuesday, September 4th. The purpose of homework is to teach responsibility as well as to help your child make the home/school connection. We expect each child to complete their homework nightly and return all assignments on the following day. For example, Monday night's homework assignment is due on Tuesday morning, Tuesday night's is due on Wednesday morning, etc. Most assignments should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. In addition to the homework assignment, reading should become a habit for your child, a habit that comes as natural as eating and sleeping. Please read to or with your child for at least 20 to 30 minutes each and every day.
