Beginning Band
This class is for students who are new to band and do not play a band instrument. Students will learn the basics of reading music and playing an instrument. All incoming 6th graders should register for this class.
**Beginning Students will need to reserve an Instrument Test Session time slot to be fitted for their instrument. You will receive an email with information on how to reserve your slot after you submit your registration.

8:30-10:15 Music Theory & Computer Lab
10:15-10:45 Snack Break
10:45-12:30 Beginning Band Rehearsal
Students should plan to bring: a snack, a water bottle, and a pencil everyday. There will be a 30 minute break for snacks.
Advanced Band
This class is for current 6th and 7th graders who have one or more years of band experience. Students will participate in Advanced Band Rehearsal, Small Ensemble Rehearsal and Music Theory & Composition classes. Advanced students will learn basic music theory and will have the opportunity to compose and perform their own music!

10:45-12:30 Woodwind/Brass/Percussion Ensembles and Music Theory & Composition instruction.

1:00-2:30, Monday - Friday each week after the regular camp day
Students should plan to bring: a snack, a water bottle, a pencil and lunch everyday. There will be a 20 minute break for snacks and a 30 minute break for lunch.
Jazz Band
This is open to current 6th and 7th grade students who have one or more years of band experience. Students will learn Jazz Style and will play Jazz Charts for the concert. There is an additional registration fee for this class.
