" Raiders Raise the Bar" is a grant "Catalyst for Change", funded by The Educational Foundation, supporting Alachua County School District.

SFHS’s plan focuses on: remediation of our lower quartile in Reading Grades 9-10; increasing our senior graduation rate and

increased instructional support for our AP students.

20 hours of practice on Khan Academy is associated with an average 115 point score increase from the PSAT/NMSQT to the SAT, nearly double the average gain without Khan.

All students in Alachua County Public Schools can access their Khan Academy account through their Just for Students link on the district's website.

The College Board is a mission-driven not-for- profit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity. Each year, the College Board helps more that seven million students prepare for a successful transition to college through programs and services in college readiness and college success - including the SAT and the Advanced Placement Program.

Beginning in 8th grade, all students in Alachua County Public Schools have established an account and linked it with their Khan Academy account.

Florida Trend's NEXT magazine is THE resource teens turn to when making important college and career decisions. NEXT is written specifically for Florida high school juniors and seniors.
