I'm New here!

But I'm not new to teaching Math. This year will be my 23rd year of teaching (and 23 is my favorite number...and it's a prime number...how about that?)

I spent my first two years teaching in upstate New York, and the last 20 years teaching in Illinois. I had never been to Florida before we moved here. I do not miss the Chicago winters, I can tell you that much.

When I'm not teaching Math, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three daughters, reading lots of books, and writing. I'm also a big football fan. My favorite team is the San Francisco 49ers, and my favorite player of all time is Jerry Rice.

I have a lot of experience teaching math, so I know for a fact that all of my students can learn Math. If they've had trouble in the past, we're going to change that. We just have to find a way to make it fun and relevant. I'm looking forward to working with my students this year.
