Booster Organization

The KMS Music Booster organization is a group of parents that help out and organize band and chorus events throughout the year. The parents are a CRUCIAL part of the program. Any parent is eligible to join. If you would like to help in any way please contact Mrs. Polkowski.

Online Volunteer Form

All volunteers are required to "register" with the School Board of Alachua County. We will have paper forms that can be filled out at school. However, we are encouraging all volunteers to complete the volunteer application online at this link:

And yes, you will need to go through the steps of filling out their employment application form (same information as on the paper volunteer form) before you can then volunteer to be a "volunteer".

To complete the application you will need to:

1. Register (button on upper right of screen).

2. Once registered, you will be taken to the "Welcome" screen, then choose the "Applications" button (to left, on top line).

3. Choose #7, Volunteers (New Application).

4. Complete the on-line application. Under "Personal Data", choose "Booster Clubs" for Question 14 and put in "Kanapaha Middle School" for Question 15.

5. Activate the application.

6. Accept the "Statement of Acceptance".

7. Choose "Apply to Current Job Postings", which will take you to the "Posting Categories".

8. Choose #7, "Volunteers", which will take you to the "Posting List".

9. Select the school of choice (Kanapaha), which will take you to the "Posting Details" screen for the "Volunteer" position.

10. Hit the "Apply" button (on left on upper bar).

And yes, congratulations, you will then have applied for the position of "Volunteer" for Band Boosters or any other Kanapaha Middle School Activities!
