A little bit about Mrs. Bazyler

First of all, let me share with you how excited I am you have made it to this site and are being proactive about your (or your students) work. I want my classes to offer students as many chances for success as possible, and this website is designed to encourage just that.

A little bit about why I became a teacher... I have longed to be a teacher since I was in Elementary School, and becuase I later developed a love for math, I decided to pursue secondary math education as my major at FSU. (Go Noles!) I believe that my love for math does not come from having a knack for math, rather it comes from the excellent teachers I had in middle and high school, who encouraged me to explore math deeper and who shared their passions with me in that time. I hope to share this love with all of the students in my classes, to show them the applications of mathematics in the "real world," and to instill in them the passion for math that will help them succeed as they continue in life.

A little bit about myself... I am married to the wonderful man pictured to the left, and we have a darling little boy named, Joel. He is 1 year old. Some hobbies I enjoy include reading, playing sports (particularly volleyball and ultimate frisbee), crafting, and baking. Occasionally, I love to sit down and work on a challenging math problem or brain teaser.

I am thrilled to begin this school year and I look forward to a great year with you all!
