*IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE - 3/27/20*

Students, Parents, & Guardians

As we look ahead to the coming week, I wanted to inform you we will be moving to online learning. (Everything will be accessible to print/pick up at Kanapaha Middle School for those families who need it.)

I have created a google classroom for each of my classes. Students, please find your class period below and add the class to your school google account using the appropriate class code. Further directions can be found below.

All furture communication will be done via Google Classroom, Skyward, Emails, and phone contact (when necessary.) While you may continue to come to this website to find additional resources and information, for simplicity, I will primarily use Google Classroom to give out assignments and to collect work. *

While I know you may have many questions that arise in light of this change, I wanted to assure that I will do my best to clear up as much as I can in an email that will be sent out early next week. If you still have questions or concerns related to what this will look like after the email is sent, please feel free to email me at bazylerdr@gm.sbac.edu and I will do my best to address them. Starting Tuesday, 3/31/20, I will also be available via phone call/text at (352) 559-5465 between the hours of 7:30am-12pm.

Thank you for being flexible and gracious with us as we make these transitions and thank you for trying to help your child succeed through this transition. It is a big one and full of unknowns.

*The only exception to using Google Classroom is if you choose to utilize the paper versions of assignments, at which point you will need to visit the Kanapaha Main Office and request the materials and assignments for my class. You can submit the work to them or email me a scanned copy of the work.

Google Classroom Instructions

Step 1: Make sure you are logged in to your @gm.sbac.edu google account.

Step 2: Select the waffle at the top right of the screen and the "Classroom" icon. (Or type classroom.google.com in the search bar.)

Step 3: Select the "+" button at the top right of the screen and choose "Join Class."

Step 4: Copy and paste the appropriate class codes that were emailed to you to join the right class.

Welcome to our class website!

On this site you will find information regarding our class structure and assignments, along with other various resources. I hope you find this site helpful. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The quickest way to do such is through email: bazylerdr@gm.sbac.edu.

Below you will find some math jokes for a laugh!

What did one math book say to the other?

Don’t bother me. I’ve got my own problems!

Student One: I saw my math teacher with a piece of graph paper yesterday.

Student Two: She must be plotting something.
