Arriving in the United States as a child with no English language skills, visual communication became a vital tool for expression. This early reliance on art not only facilitated connection but also sparked a lifelong passion, ultimately guiding the decision to pursue a career as an art educator.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of Dayton, the educator has been teaching since 2013. Experience spans all grade levels, from kindergarten through high school seniors. Since joining the GHS team, notable accomplishments include the success of the Empty Bowls fundraiser, significant growth in the ceramics department, and serving as the department chair.
The classroom goal is to cultivate a creative and safe environment where students can develop problem-solving skills and express themselves artistically. Emphasis is placed on fostering innovation and building confidence through artistic exploration.
