1. University-sponsored benefits:

Note:

1.1 The qualification for having (basic) tuition fee exemption and free student dormitory should be applied in the second and third year.

1.2 The full and basic tuition fees for international students are roughly NTD 55,000 and NTD 28,000 per semester respectively; dormitory fee is NTD 6,000 – 9,000 per semester, depending on the type of the rooms. 

1.3 Students receiving the awards (e.g. Elite Study in Taiwan Program, ESIT) of the Ministry of Education shall not apply for university-sponsored scholarships and benefits.

2. Research assistant scholarship:

Qualified individuals could be awarded pending the approval of his/her thesis advisors.

3. Elite Study in Taiwan Program (ESIT):

ESIT is commissioned by the Ministry of Education and National Changhua University of Education. International students could be awarded NTD 25,000 per month up to 2 years. (Discrepancy will be by school if the scholarship is insufficient from the Ministry of Education)

4. National University System Taiwanese Language Certification Scholarship:

Students can get a one-time financial award (up to NTD 9,000) by having obtained the following language certifications: Mandarin, Taiwanese, Aboriginal Language and Hakka.
