Here are written directions to sign up for a Boston Public Library eCard & Hoopla
1) Register for a free Boston Public Library eCard here. Important – DO NOT FORGET the four-digit PIN number that you create during the registration process. Boston Public Library will email you your library card number to you, but they will not email you your PIN number. You will need your library card number and your PIN number to sign up for Hoopla.
2) Go to HooplaDigital.com and click on the “Get Started Today” button in the middle of the screen. Fill out the form to create an account. When it asks you to select a library, search for “Boston” and then select the Boston Public Library. Then it will ask you for your Boston Public Library Card number and the PIN number that you just created.
Note – Your PIN number is NOT the last four digits of your Boston Public Library card number. It is a number that you created yourself when you signed up for your BPL eCard.
If you forget your PIN, email Mrs. DeFrancesco at jdefrancesco@glts.net.
