Assignment

Students in grades 10-12 will submit the Summer Assignment in Google Classroom.

Incoming freshmen will hand in a paper copy to their teacher on the day of the Summer Reading event.  Incoming Freshmen will not use Google Classroom.

Incoming freshmen are not using Google Classroom. Incoming freshmen will submit paper copies of their Summer Assignment in September on the day of the Summer Reading event at school. 

Students in grades 10-12 must submit their assignments on Google Classroom. Paper copies will not be accepted.

Summer Reading is worth two Learning Assessment grades in your English class.

Students will complete a graphic organizer over the summer which you will use to guide your discussion during the Summer Reading Event in September. The graphic organizer is an important aspect of the discussion.

The Summer Reading event includes: 

• Activator --  10 points

• Discussion --  60 points

• Game --  30 points
