Welcome to Glowsis Marketing, a field force management application developed and operated by Glowsis Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we", "our", or "us").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our mobile application available on the Google Play Store. This app is intended exclusively for authorised employees and field marketing executives of organisations registered with Glowsis Technologies Pvt Ltd.
By using this application, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
This application is a B2B enterprise tool — it is not a public consumer app. It is used by:
Field Marketing Executives assigned to routes and customer visits
Marketing team members who perform daily punch-in/punch-out attendance
Employees who log vehicle odometer readings and route activities
Team members who submit task reports and customer visit records
⚠️ Access to this app requires valid organisation credentials provided by your employer. Unauthorised access is strictly prohibited.
We collect the following categories of data when you use the app:
Organisation Code — to identify your employer's account
Username & Password — for authentication (transmitted securely)
Employee Code (EmpCode) — your unique employee identifier
Employee Name, Mobile Number, Company Email — from your employer's system
Role / Designation — Field Marketing Executive or Editor
GPS Coordinates (Latitude & Longitude) — collected at the time of:
Punch In / Punch Out (attendance)
Route Punch In / Punch Out
Customer Visit submission
Task submission
Location Name / Address — reverse geocoded from GPS coordinates
Location is collected only when you actively perform an action in the app (foreground only)
We do NOT collect background location or track you continuously
Attendance Selfie — captured via front camera during punch in/out
Odometer Photo — captured via rear camera for vehicle KM reading
Visit Photo — captured during customer visit submission
Task Photo — captured during task detail submission
All photos are uploaded to Glowsis secure servers and linked to your activity record
Odometer KM readings — start and end readings per route/shift
Vehicle ID and status — assigned vehicle information
Route details — route name, ID, punch in/out times
Customer/Shop Name, Address, Phone, Owner Name
Observations and Remarks — entered by the employee
Visit timestamp and location
Task procedures done, remark notes
Internet connectivity status — to show offline alerts
No device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID) are collected

Attendance Management — verifying employee punch in/out with location and selfie
Route Management — tracking field route start and completion with odometer readings
Customer Visit Reporting — recording visit details, photos, and observations for employer review
Task Management — logging field tasks and procedures performed at customer locations
Vehicle Monitoring — tracking vehicle odometer for mileage and expense management
Dashboard Analytics — providing employees and managers with daily activity summaries
Session Management — maintaining secure login sessions and auto-logout on expiry
We do NOT use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose outside of your employment activities.

📍 Location is collected only in the foreground — only when you are actively using the app and performing an action. We do NOT track your location in the background.
All data is transmitted to Glowsis Technologies Pvt Ltd secure servers over HTTPS encrypted connections
Images are uploaded to https://login.glowsis.com and stored securely
Activity records are stored on https://purchaseplanningapi.azurewebsites.net (Microsoft Azure cloud)
Login credentials are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences with encryption
Session tokens expire automatically — you are logged out if your session is invalid
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorised access
No data is stored on third-party advertising or analytics platforms
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:
Your Employer — all field activity data (attendance, visits, routes, tasks) is accessible to your employer/organisation through the Glowsis management dashboard
Microsoft Azure — our cloud infrastructure provider where API data is hosted. Azure complies with international data protection standards
Legal Requirements — we may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority
We do NOT share data with:
Advertising networks
Analytics companies
Social media platforms
Any third party outside of your employer and our infrastructure providers
Activity data (attendance, visits, routes, tasks) is retained as long as your employer's account is active with Glowsis Technologies
Upon termination of your employer's contract, data is deleted within 90 days
You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting your employer or Glowsis support
Locally stored login credentials on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the app
This application is intended for use by adults in a professional employment context only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. This app is not directed at children and is not available for general public download — it requires valid employer-issued credentials to access.
As a user, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to Access — You can request a copy of the data we hold about you
Right to Correction — You can request correction of inaccurate data
Right to Deletion — You can request deletion of your personal data (subject to employer retention policies)
Right to Withdraw Consent — You may stop using the app at any time. Note that certain data collection is required for the app to function as part of your employment duties
