Dear Global Jaya Community,
Welcome to the 2026–27 school year! As we prepare to open our campus on Monday, August 10, we extend our warmest greetings to all returning families and a heartfelt welcome to those joining our community for the very first time. The start of a new school year brings a unique sense of energy, filled with opportunities for intellectual discovery, creative expression, and lasting friendships. Our dedicated faculty and staff have been working tirelessly to prepare classrooms and design engaging learning experiences that will inspire every student to reach their full potential. We look forward to partnering closely with our parents to support our students' growth, and we cannot wait to see the campus come alive with enthusiasm, curiosity, and shared community spirit this coming Monday.
CELL PHONES AND CANTEEN PAYMENT SYSTEM
Please remember that GJS is a Cell Phone Free school during school hours. For students who wish to purchase food in the Canteen, you have two different payment options.
Option one, you can use the eMoney or Flazz card. Please make sure your children have topped up these cards so that they don't encounter any challenges when making payments in the Canteen.
Option two, we have now activated a payment system using the students' school ID card. For students who wish to use the ID card, you will need to set up an account using the GJS app, where you can top up the card for payments throughout the school year.
If a student needs a new ID card, it can be purchased through the Cashier's office for 50,000 IDR.
Please be reminded that Saturday, August 22nd is an Open Day, and we will have regular school on that day for students and teachers. To make up for attending school on a Saturday, Monday, August 24th will be a day off of school in lieu of Open Day.
Finally, on behalf of the Leadership Team, all the staff and faculty of GJS, we can't wait to see you on Monday!
Kind regards,
Dr. Howard Menand
Head of School
