For First Responders Night, the GHS Veterans Project honored Captain Jason Baehr, Sergeant Chris Jones, and Deputy Robert Noel of the Goochland Sheriff's Department and members of Goochland Fire Department, including Chief Eddie Ferguson, for their service, both to our country and community.
Sept. 2, 2022
For our inaugural event, the GHS Veterans Project honored Lieutenant Matthew Montgomery, as an honorary football captain, for his service in the United States Marine Corps and Navy Reserves. Montgomery walked with his son, #12, and the football captains to perform the coin toss at the Bulldogs’ first home game of the 2022 season against Collegiate.
