Internet Safety

Objective: The student will be able to: initiate a discussion with their parents in developing guidelines for internet usage. Explain the importance of keeping their identity private on the internet and the downfalls of sharing passwords. Explain that posting information on the internet is never really private and define and list types of cyberbullying and what they need to do to stop cyberbullying.


Activities: A number of instructional strategies will be used to deliver content and engage students:

1. Use of movies and materials on class website or other internet resources.

2. Movies and DVD's

3. Internet Explorer/Google Chrome

4. Use of the World Wide Web to provide resources

5. Worksheets

6. Hands-on project based instructional activities
