The Glenn County Office of Education, in partnership with the California Global Education Project (CGEP), offered workshops in which teachers explored globally themed children’s books and book lists focused on a theme (e.g., environmental justice, SEL, cultures, diversity, SDGs, etc.). Teachers learned how to develop learning activities focused on global competence, created one of their own, and take books back to their classrooms for implementation.
