Just a quick word.

So it's been a year and a very trying one. But doubt and despair will get us nowhere...fast.

So what should be your resolution for this year? Well considering that we have changed our mode of operations and teaching methods to a great degree, you will need to take a little bit more responsibility for your learning. So here are the variables:

  1. You still have a lot of content to cover.

  2. Your contact time will be shared among subjects

  3. Your contact time will be shared among different modes, both virtually and physically

So what should your resolve be:

  1. You and your teacher will need to do a lot more collaboration

  2. You will have to do you assignments and assessments as that is way to get instant feedback on what you need to learn.

  3. Keep all the communication channels (phone, email, parents phone and emails) ready to receive correspondence.

Keep praying, hoping and studying. You future is now.

Finding second gear!

This is the year when you get into the grove or you have already found your grove. What does this "grove" mean?

Well it means that by now you have understood how our assessment works - tri-weeklies, assignments, etc. You also have found some kind of way to study and retain the information that you are taught. You may have also found our tests easier as you go along. Well this second gear is where you take all those things and strengthen your minds in preparation for increase work, which ultimately leads you to third form.

So you second gear will be defined with better understanding and smarter learning choices.
