We will be making Manu as a class.

Making a manu with harekeke will be challenging. It is something new that we haven't tried before. We will have to keep on trying...even when it gets tricky. We will need to ask our friends for help and work together.

We will be exploring this science lesson by Nanogirl as a class.

We will be thinking about Matariki and the rising of the Matariki stars. It's amazing that science can help us understand how we can see the Matariki stars twinkling here on earth?

We will be making our own Matariki kites as a class.

We will be making and flying Matariki kites. It will be exciting to take them outside on a windy day and see how they fly. It might not work the first time, but we will keep on trying!
