6th Grade Math is FILLED with important concepts! From ratios, decimals, fractions, percents, to beginning Algebra! Math can be FUN, but it definitely requires some PRACTICE!
6th Grade Math is FILLED with important concepts! From ratios, decimals, fractions, percents, to beginning Algebra! Math can be FUN, but it definitely requires some PRACTICE!
Some helpful tips:
- Take GOOD notes! Make sure you can read your own writing; especially the steps and examples!
- ASK questions! Don't wait until it's too late!
- Take ADVANTAGE of extra help- homework club, tutorials, etc.
- Have a great ATTITUDE! Telling yourself that you aren't good at something is never good when you need to improve.
- Stay ORGANIZED! Use your agenda. Keep your binder neat and organized. Have pencils and red pens with you every day. Class goes by quickly, so it's important that you're prepared. Also be sure that you are checking Aeries on a regular basis. We have a lot of assignments in math.
- Be RESPONSIBLE! If you have a question, I would love to hear from YOU! Email me or stay after class.
