The World Language Honor Society seeks to honor students who have demonstrated sustained excellence in their studies of languages and cultures.
Students who exemplify the morals and values of hard work, determination, respect, and responsibility through high academic achievement and character are selected for this distinction. Eligible students (candidates) will be notified in the spring via email, of their eligibility for induction.
Please note: eligibility requirements are different for each language, and are available below.
UPDATE FALL 2022- Given the limitations that are ongoing due to global pandemic, the community service requirement for honor society students has been scaled down Students will be expected to complete 6 hours of community service for the world language honor societies this year. The option to complete this requirement is through SMS and GHS tutoring. Tutoring will be able to take place in person and via Zoom.
