Mission:
We encourage, support, and recognize individual student initiative and achievement in scholastic journalism, regardless of the medium.
Vision:
To recognize every student, through induction into the society, who meets the criteria established by the society.
Who is Eligible:
Juniors or seniors who have done excellent work for and played a significant role in the school newspaper, literary magazine, yearbook, or TV morning show.
Eligibility Requirements:
Be of at least sophomore status
Have the equivalent of a B grade average, or be in the upper third of their class in general academic standing, either for the year of election or for the cumulative total of all high school academic work.
Have been involved with The Hawk’s Eye, Thoughts Dominion, Reflections (GHS Yearbook), or The GHS Morning Show for at least one academic year.
Have been a significant contributor for The Hawk’s Eye, Thoughts Dominion, Reflections (GHS Yearbook), or The GHS Morning Show.
Be recommended by the teacher adviser for a particular publication or production.
