The mission of the GHS World Language Lab is to support and enhance world language instruction through speaking, listening to, and viewing authentic language content. GHS world language classes generally visit the lab every two weeks to practice language skills. Students also use the lab to participate in several standard language assessments (see the Language Assessments page) to help measure language proficiency. In addition, the lab is used for make-up work for students who have missed school.
The World Language Lab is located in Glastonbury High School room B213. It is open and staffed every block and after-school, everyday, except Thursdays. Mrs. Machnik is available to assist students and teachers throughout the day.
