Here on team 2170, we build robots, but we value people above all. Aiming to spark the same curiosity FIRST Robotics has in our hearts, we spread joy through our efforts in FLL. These include:
Hosting FIRST Lego League camps and competitions at Glastonbury High School
Mentoring plenty FIRST Lego League teams, alongside running demos and scrimmages
Giving Demos and Sharing the love of engineering with future generations!

Every summer, in June, we run a camp for grades 4-8.
The students run the program from start to finish, developing lesson plans and working one-on-one with the kids.
The camp often consists of group lessons, build activities, projects, and an expo to round it all off.
On some Saturdays, we run short FLL building and learning sessions for kids to enjoy
Kids build legos by making use of the SPIKE Lego Education App
High Schoolers on 2170 help the students, guiding them through their designs.
Following a tutorial, the kids work hard to show off to their parents!
X (fill this in) students on 2170 mentor FIRST Lego League teams.
High Schoolers walk 1-8th graders through the engineering process in groups of 6-10
Students build lego robots, but they also build friendships, design ideas, and learn teamwork!
We run scrimmages and state tournaments for these students in the State of Connecticut
On 2170, not only do we aim to continue to help our community as we always do, but we aim to design new ideas to help our community in new ways!
This year, we're beginning a STEAM Club at Smith Middle School, which may proliferate into a FIRST Tech Challenge Team
This year, we're aiming to present a demo of our Robot at a Senior Citizen Center and more!
