About Us
The CREST lab opened in the Fall of 2017 at GHS and quickly proved to be a valuable resource. The lab is designed to meet the needs of five different science disciplines all in the same space: Earth Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Engineering.
CREST Lab Access
The CREST Lab is located in GHS Room A102.
The CREST Lab is open to teachers to sign-out for class use during the school day, for students to sign-up to visit during a free period, and after school by appointment, on days that activity buses are available.
What You Will Find
An array of advanced lab equipment can be found in the CREST lab. GHS students now have access to everything from a comparison microscope to DNA electrophoresis toolkits, mini-incubators, a drill press, and 3-D and large format printers. There are also a few fully “tricked out” tool carts with all the hand tools any engineer could need to construct robots, or just about anything else.
